We connect service providers and transportation companies

  • Many companies are active in the mobility market and want to sell their products to transportation companies and public authorities. Whether these are products for bus and rail companies, new mobility solutions, or providers of sharing systems, they all have one thing in common: many new software and hardware offerings, as well as service providers, are currently flooding the market, creating an enormous variety of options. This is where we support your company with drive and expertise:
  • geminiptc stays up to date on the latest products and provides you with an overview of the latest developments.
  • geminiptc can classify these products and ensure that they are integrated into existing structures.

We bring to your company the experience and network we have built up over the past 20 years in and around public transportation in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Our expertise ranges from core areas such as bus and rail operations, to call center services for passenger information, to complementary forms of mobility such as on-demand transport and car sharing. New mobility providers, in particular, have become a key focus of our work.

geminiptc has supported numerous partnerships in the public and regional transit sectors, successfully managed tenders, and connected partners for new projects. We have always offered the market our in-depth expertise in legal frameworks, identifying the right contacts, and ensuring projects are executed correctly.

Thanks to our international experience, we are also specifically equipped to identify and implement business ideas from abroad. We assist in establishing overseas branches, connecting you with suitable local partners, and ensuring your business succeeds in markets you are not yet familiar with.

In addition, geminiptc brings further external expertise to the table. Depending on the task at hand, we draw on a comprehensive network of partner companies: advertising agencies, management consultants, software developers, and call centers—all of whom specialize in public transportation services and use their experience, services, and expertise to help successfully complete the project.

Once a project has been secured, we support you with our expertise during its implementation. Modern communication technologies and public transportation are becoming increasingly intertwined. To achieve mutual benefits, it is important to bring the right partners to the table, coordinate their efforts, and ensure the project stays within budget and on schedule. Only then can new and innovative ideas be steered toward a meaningful goal. In this context, geminiptc sees itself as a project developer. In many cases, we have supported and actively shaped public transportation projects from the initial idea through to the grand opening and beyond. Take advantage of our experience!

What's in store for 2026?

How should I put it? The new year got off to a flying start. Even in the first few weeks, I had a wide variety of client meetings that clearly demonstrated what will be important this year:

  • Autonomous driving in public transportation: This is sure to be a hot topic for us this year. Let me say this right off the bat: Don’t be swayed by PowerPoint slides and get-rich-quick schemes—literally take a look under the hood of these providers! In my research for various clients, I’ve found that, once again, more is being promised than can be delivered. I know this phenomenon all too well from the early days of on-demand transportation. So feel free to reach out if you’re interested in strategies for successfully managing a project involving autonomous vehicles.
  • On-demand transportation time and again: Yes, even traditional, scheduled on-demand transportation still has its place. It makes it much easier for customers to coordinate transfers between scheduled and on-demand services. This is evidenced by the significantly higher pooling rates compared to on-demand transportation. Here, one must look from service area to service area to select the appropriate mode of transport. Technically, the relevant system providers are now at a very similar level.
  • We’re still grappling with the challenges of organizing school transportation —whether it’s simply billing for student passes or scheduling vehicles. Our partner company, Stadt Land Netz, has the right software solution. Feel free to contact us if you need advice.
  • And, of course, the perennial topic of accelerating public transportation via V2X. With s.a.d., Markus Mahler certainly has the leading solution for public transportation companies in his portfolio. His expertise in integrating vehicles for transportation companies is unmatched in the market. We are now eagerly awaiting the first major tenders to follow our pilot projects.

Would you like to know how geminiptc can help you with your software procurement needs for your transportation company or transit authority? Would you like to know whether your company’s software infrastructure is still up to date and which technical developments are important?

Are you a software provider looking to connect with transportation companies and transit authorities and benefit from our network?

Please feel free to contact us in person, by email, or by phone, or come meet us at the following trade shows and events:
