It has been over a year since geminiptc’s last newsletter. A lot has happened in that time, many initiatives have been implemented, and numerous projects have been launched!
A major focus of our work has clearly been on sharing and pooling services. Whether it’s ride-pooling services, the development of intermodal software platforms, or the traditional tendering of on-demand bus services, our work has increasingly shifted toward new mobility providers.
And yes, we have identified the contexts in which these services are useful. And yes, we can now specify more precisely what measures need to be taken to prevent parallel traffic and at what point it makes sense to combine different modes of transport to create a truly intermodal service.
Therefore, if you are currently exploring new, innovative forms of mobility or are looking to implement them, we are happy to assist you with our advice, support, and expertise. Take advantage of the projects we have completed and the experience we have gained through them.
Normally, we would also mention here the events, trade shows, or conferences where we might meet. Now we can say: Just get in touch via Teams, Skype, Zoom, or any other platform. That, too, is one of the benefits of this year—we’re all much easier to reach this way.
